Results are in for the 120 Seconds campaign promoting fire safety. The contest, which challenged school-age kids to come up with innovative ways to spread the word about how to act in case of a fire, ran through December 2019, and now the winners have been chosen by online voting.
In first place is Friedrich-Schiller-Schule Heusweiler (Saarland) with a video that acts like a quiz, testing a viewer’s knowledge. Students used social media, the press and other multiplicators to promote and distribute the video. The best part is they won 3000€ for their school!
2nd place was won by the Marie-Curie-Gymnasium Hohen Neuendorf (Brandenburg). 3rd place was won by Werner-von-Siemens-Gymnasium Gronau (NRW).
Check out all of their entries and read more about the contest on the website at www.120sek.de/gewinner-schuelerwettbewerb-2019/.
We extend our congratulations to all of the winners and thank everyone for participating. And if your school missed out this time, no worries. There’s a new contest starting on April 20th! Please go to the website for more information.
